Welcome to the first of a series of the Lazy Lady demonstrations. I don’t particularly think of myself as a lazy person...per say...but I definitely don’t like to put a lot of effort into projects. I also hate wasting time. I have zero patience, and want things done IMMEDIATELY. If you feel the same way, you might enjoy these demonstrations.
So let’s get started! (I don’t have all day here!)
1) gather the following supplies:
• hammer
• scissor
• nail, screw or other hanging apparatus
• paper
• pencil
• painter tape
• frame to hang (duh)
Like I said....NO TAPE MEASURE REQUIRED!!!
2) Place your frame over your paper and trace a template.
I’m a Lazy Lady...so I made sure I pushed the frame against the edge of the paper...this way I only have to cut 3 sides (you’re welcome)!
3) cut your template with the scissors.
4) turn your frame so the back of it is exposed. Place your template on the back of the frame and line it up just below the hanging hardware on the back of the frame. I like to make a vertical line where I would like my nail to line up just to ensure I am in the right area.
5) Next step is to line up the paper template to the top of the frame and ensure it is lined up along all four sides. Feel with your hand, where the hardware is. Using your vertical line as a guide, place a point on your template where the nail will go to hang your frame. This frame has 2 hanging points (damn you Target!!! )
6) Use the painter tape to hang the template into the desired location on your wall.
7) Hammer a nail into the points on the template.
8) you can use a level at this point if desired. I’m too lazy so I just ripped the template off the wall and hung my frame.
Looks good to me!!! This was sitting against the wall for two months. That job is done 😄
Onto my next Lazy Lady task! Thanks for reading my post! 💕
